“Write it on your heart that every day is the best day in the year. No man has learned anything rightly, until he knows that every day is Doomsday.” – Ralph Waldo Emerson

My Thoughts:

This can make sense in a way as you think about it. However, how can the best day be a day if you were to break up from your girlfriend or boyfriend. Unless you think of it as a best day ever as better opportunities that will come along that suit you. In that way it can make sense, but it is pretty hard to accept it. No matter what during a breakup, life is going to be challenging and hard as a new way of living is going to take effect. For this reason, you need to move on with your life and accept the changes that are going to come along.

Doomsday

Ever wonder what doomsday is? It is pretty much the last day on earth. In other words, live everyday as if it’s the last day. At the same time, this doesn’t mean don’t do anything with your life. Meaning, even though you might think its doomsday, it is a doomsday in a different way. This means respectfully live your life with respect to your body and surroundings. Don’t drain down 40 litters of alcohol because you think its doomsday. No, live accordingly to your health and wellbeing.

Read Poems

If you haven’t already, read great poems by Ralph Waldo Emerson because the poems are beneficial. It is a learning experience and I’m not sure why, but the old poems are just so much better. It’s like God send these poets to give us these special poems by some of the greatest poets. Also, if you never wrote a poem, try to write one as it opens up your mind.
