“Worry often gives a small thing a big shadow.” – Swedish Proverb

My Thoughts:

Worry is the cause to many problems in life. Worrying starts to cause anxiety and panic attacks to the person. Most of the time, everything is okay until the person starts worrying about it. For example, you might fear walking through a shopping mall, this worry before you even get there, builds stronger anxiety than it would realistically happen. If the person didn’t worry about it, the person would handle the situation more smoothly and easily.

Worrying Brings Nothing

When a person keeps worrying in his/her mind, these thoughts tend to turn to fear. This is why it is important to not worry, but it is hard to not worry when you fear something. As hard it is, it is just made purposely to our self-being.

This is one of those feelings that it is as it is, and we can’t control it. Therefore, all I could say is be strong about it and handle it maturely. Do as you fear which is the only solution to overcome fear. Unless obviously it is something that can be fixed. But, if it is something that can’t be fixed, then go for it and keep doing it. I think most cases healing takes years and hard work too.

Small to Big

Most of the time the problem is really small, it just that worrying makes it bigger. Watch the movie, “Shallow Hal” which came out on the year 2001. Great film by Jack Black and this Swedish Proverb reminds of it. If you never seen it, I highly recommend watching it. It is very funny and adds new thoughts in your mind that you can think about.

Next time you do something that you start thinking about, try to control your mind.
