This Kamik Men’s Nations Winter Boots lives to its expectations for the Winter Season. The model that I’m trying is the NationSXT from Big 5 Sporting Goods. I’ve tried this in puddles of water and absolutely no water seems to go inside. I haven’t tested this on the snow, but if its works great with water then it should work with snow too. This NationSXT is pretty heavy though, sometimes you get tired walking with them. But, they are comfortable, also they seem to get pretty hot inside. Most of the time my feet start sweating inside because its gets too hot.
Pointless to Remove the Inside Liner
Not only is this good for security work shoes, its good for any job that is outside. So, if you work in factory or anywhere that involves some outside walk, this would be great for the Season. The inside is Removable 200B Thinsulate foam liner, but keep in mind its pointless to remove it. Once you remove the liner inside, its nothing but rubber interior. You may want to keep the liner inside, but its good to remove to clean inside.
This NationSXT model seems like its not in the Big 5 website anymore. They have similar models that are under Nations Winter Boots category and if this NationSXT lives to its expectations so should all of them. Also, keep in mind I’ve used this for only a month now, so i’m not sure how long this will last. For under 100 bucks, this is great warm boots for the winter snow or rains.

This Response Gear Security Guard Boots are by far one of the most popular from Big 5. From every shoe out there this is the only one I’ve noticed most security guards wearing. Wonder Why? Because its cheap and looks okay with uniform. Most people working don’t like like to pay a lot of money for shoes that are for work. They rather pay the money for expensive shoes for outside of work. Therefore This shoes come in as one of the most popular security guard shoes and well worth the price.
6 Month Boots
I wore this shoes for 6 months and walked, walked, and walked for many hours. After 6 months of wearing this boots I recommend it because they are pretty comfortable and look nice with the exterior leather. However, I am going to say that this shoes are good for 6 months and after 6 months I think its time for some new ones. So for 30 bucks lasting for 6 months I think this are great buy and good for all jobs.

Not for the Rains
On the other hand, this boots are not waterproof, so for the rain weather I will wear the Kamik Boots on top of this page. During the rain, entire shoe gets wet including the inside, so plan different work shoes for the rain. But for Summer this are well worth the price and for all seasons that don’t rain.
Big 5 Sporting Goods has been selling this boots for some quiet time now. And for $29.99 I think its unbeatable and they come in wide and regular sizes too.
