“Not until we are lost do we begin to understand ourselves.” – Henry David Thoreau

My Thoughts:

For some reason this quote reminds me of the book: “Man’s Search for Meaning,” written by Viktor E. Frankl. If you haven’t read that book, I highly suggest it as it’s just what the title says. I have read the book so many years ago and don’t remember it much, but I remember it has to do with concentration camps. It is a very sad book and once I started, I didn’t want to stop reading. I read it about 10-15 years ago and now I’m thinking about reading it again.

True

Can’t say anything about this quote except for that it’s absolutely true. Same goes with just about anything else. For example, let’s say you are watching boxing on TV, and it looks so easy that you think you can do it. Until you get in the ring and drop down from a knockout. If you fight you experience it and you know just how complicated it can be. But from the outside it looks as if you can do it better. Thats just how life is sometimes. You will not know how hard it is, until you suffered yourself.

Experience

Just with everything else, if you think acting is easy: try it. What are you waiting for, get up and do it. Life is not going to wait for you, you got to move forward with it. Trying is the key to everything in life and the experience that will guide you. If you thought soccer is so easy looking down from the crowd, then play it so you will know just how hard it is.

Nothing in life is easy, even what seems easy, is not easy. It takes dedication and effort to do everything to accomplish greatness.

If you think you are amazing just the way you are, then I always say try something greater. This way you push yourself to even higher depth of life. That is the mission of life as I like to think it is.
