“If you truly believe love conquers all try to give a kiss to a rattlesnake.” – Erik Tanghe

Many times you hear people saying Love wins over everything, however I don’t think it’s always true. Sometimes love hurts, but I don’t think you can love without pain because love and pain go hand in hand. Love Bites it’s what I’m getting out of this quote and now I just want to question just how true love is?

Picture of Rattlesnake

I got this picture during my hike at Grifith Park in Los Angeles. I randomly came across this snake and it was on the side of the road. The snake seemed it was on an unsafe area as a car could have run through it. What I did is went a bit close and it started going away towards the hiking path areas. Thats when I knew it is safe for the snake, so I continued my hike. In a way I kind of felt like a hero because I now know the snake won’t be runed over by a car.

Of course, I kept my distance at the same time, but I also want to say to everyone to drive safe. I always see dead squirrels on the streets when I go to Grifith Park. The speed in Grifith Park is 25 MPH, however I always notice people are driving 35 and over and this makes it dangerous to animals crossing the roads. Driving fast makes it hard to stop quickly and there is a reason why it is 25 MPH.

If I could just make one statement right now it would be for everyone to follow all the speed limit signs. Those signs are made with a purpose behind it and we need to follow it for a reason.

During my hike trails at Grifith, I come across many animals including coyotes, deer’s, eagles, and rabbits.
