“We will not waver; we will not tire; we will not falter, and we will not fail. Peace and Freedom will prevail.” – George W. Bush

(My Thoughts:)

Every time I think of George W. Bush it takes me back to the days when the Twin Towrs had collapsed. I still remember that day as George W. Bush was the president at that time. I was in 8th grade, and I walked into my first period English class and Ms. Wilson was the teacher. She was crying and we just didn’t know why and the T.V was on with the news channel being on. She mentioned that two of her sons are inside the building and the tears she had was very saddening. However, the 2nd day we found out that her sons were not inside the building during that time and they were supposed to be there in the afternoon. So, just by couple of hours they got saved from being in the building.

Heart Breaking

The entire Twin Towers story is just heartbreaking and saddening to everyone. God be with all of the people we lost during that day and just being in 8th grade I can remember the pain we had experienced in the USA. I remember watching the news every day for like the entire year and that is probably the times I got my habit of watching the news. I’m probably just realizing it now, but it’s probably because of those days that I keep watching the news now. Well, it is obvious there really is no good news out there, but as bad as things can be in the news, we have to be brave for it.

God Bless everyone in the Twin Towers and their families. So many years passed, yet the impact is like a scar that is left behind us.
