“Whenever you are angry, be assured that it is not only a present evil, but that you have increased a habit.” – Epictetus

(My Thoughts:)

When it comes to anger there is really nothing good that comes from it. Every time you are mad you try to do revenge back or something in a way that is not beneficial for you and people around you. For example, let’s say someone does something to you that causes you to feel anger, this builds revenge in your mind. But how do you plan on doing revenge is the question to think about. Why? Well, because there really is no good way of doing revenge to anyone. Unless the revenge is actually healthy and good or pleasing to the person. But most cases it is just not that. Therefore, if you have anger in your mind, learn to adjust and behave with it.

Habit

You have to adjust to a habit that you can lean back to when you are angry at something. Learn and adjust ways to deal with it that will help you to not do anything negative out of the anger. This may take some time to learn and to figure it out but start now and help yourself by learning this habit to use when you are angry. What I like to do is think the negative that I want to do in my mind but just not really do it. Kind of like picture it in my mind that I’m doing revenge even though I’m not.

There are always ways to replace anger with peace. It seems hard but it just is a learning habit. Anger is pretty disgusting and not really nice to even have it. Therefore, learn ways to replace anger with peace of mind. Change the way you think to change the way you feel when it comes to anger.
