“What we see depends mainly on what we look for.”
– John Lubbock

(My Thoughts:)

This is very important to understand that if you see something you don’t like then look for it in a different way. Not everyone sees things the same way and not everyone likes the same foods as well. For example, you may love a Big Mac from McDonald’s, but there is someone out there that will dislike that same exact food. Well, people have different feelings, and this makes us who we are as a whole. Just to mention as well that McDonald’s has a promotion on their Big Mac Sauce that is pretty much a secret. Well not exactly a secret, but you just have to know it exists so you can ask for it. For a limited time the sauce is available in cups ready to go. Otherwise, if you just ask for it they will give it to you.

Perhaps

The one word that I can think of when it comes to this quote by John Lubbock is the word: Perhaps. Why? Well, it is quiet obvious. If something doesn’t seem right, perhaps you can look at it differently. Let’s take a look at the picture with a land made of a heart. To some people, this may be a lovely thing and very noticeable that it is a heart. To many it just might not mean anything. Perhaps, there are just different ways you can look at it and this is just the way life is. If something is not right, perhaps you can make it right by looking at it differently.

Always keep the word perhaps in your mind as it will make you see things in a different point of view. Which goes to be that what you may find a problem may not be a problem to someone else. Or what may not be a problem to you, may be a problem to someone else.
