“There is no need to learn through pain. And gentle lessons are acquired joyously, and are remembered gladly.” – A Course in Miracles

In a way this quote makes absolute sense. “There is no need to learn through pain.” That said, why would someone want to learn something through pain? This reminds me that you got to do the things in life that you like. For example, let’s say you want to be a nurse, but hate the job then why learn something that you are not interested in. You may love the money, but if it falls out of your interest then don’t study through pain just for some quick bucks. Instead find a career that you love regardless if it pays a bit less than a nurse. It is better to enjoy and love what you are doing rather than hating it and doing it for the money.

“And gentle lessons are acquired joyously, and are remembered gladly.” What I think this states is that you can learn what you like slowly and happily with joy. Gentle lessons meaning lessons that you learn slowly or a lesson that you take time and patients. This small lessons in life are the ones that will make your life glad and towards the right path.

Brainstorm

So, if you haven’t done so already take the time to think what you like to do? Think of careers or anything in life that you want to progress. Write down what you will need to do to progress this and stick to it. Some things in life are harder than others, but you can accomplish it. You just got to put it in your mind that you can overtake this and gently accomplish it. Good news is that there is always a bright side if you try.
