“The monsters are in your own head.” – Paula Cole

My Thoughts:

I absolutely love this quote by Paula Cole, and it is something I mentally relate to. As I been having problems of my own, I sometimes repeat this quote in my mind. I think it is a good reminder to anyone who might have some mental breakdowns.

Fear

What does this have to do with fear? Well, it is obvious that when we fear something, it is something that we create in our minds. Realistically, fear is just illusions of what we create. In other words, as this quote says: “The monsters are in your own head.”

Outcome

We need to work on ways to overcome whatever we are going through. I myself have fears and its taking over my life in some ways which is disturbing to me. However, I think it is something designed from God to control my life path to where I need to go. Same with everyone else. There is a solution to everything, but some things are just guided by God. I really think fear is one of those things where we just need to deal with. Also, overcoming fear is a great relief from our body and bones.

If you need help

If there is something that is bothering you, you can talk about it. Sometimes telling people what bothers you can help to relieve it. Possibly, the other person can give helpful answers to your problems. I don’t think it’s going to solve the problem, but as you explain someone the problem it might feel a less of a problem. As the other person knows about your problems, than you feel a little bit comfort that they judge you by knowing what you are going through. Talking to a therapist can help, but I really don’t think it’s a solution. I think maybe going to different therapist would be better as different results would be shared.
