“The Ladybug wears no disguises.
She is just what she advertises.
A speckled spectacle of spring,
A fashion statement on the wing…
A miniature orange kite.
A tiny dot-to-dot delight.”
– J. Patrick Lewis

Well for the most part, I always thought ladybugs were lovely creatures, which I still think that. However, what I learned is that there are just too many different types of this species. Some of them just bite pretty hard and some are just polite. I even heard some that bite building woods and tear down houses and buildings. Anyway, as I was hiking at the park, I came across a friendly ladybug that came and landed on my hand. I let the ladybug wonder around my hand and I just took a video of it.

Ladybug Bites my Arm

The ladybug started biting my hand, and it felt like a pinch in a light form of pain. Anyway, I didn’t care about the bite, but just as J. Patrick says, “The Ladybug wears no disguises. She is just what she advertises.” The one question that remains in my mind when I was getting bit, was: “if the bug is a male, is it still called a ladybug?” (LOL) This are the type of stuff that goes on in my head and I gave up thinking about it.

Regardless of what, every time I see a ladybug I always think it brings Good Luck. Even if it bites my hand, I feel like I gave her some food and these tiny feelings mean a lot to me. However, don’t forget that there are ladybugs that chop up buildings and they may look like ladybugs, but they may not be called ladybugs.

Just to add that Ladybugs remind me of Easter and that provides me a lovely feeling. Now I want to eat Easter Eggs.
