The difference between Teremana Reposado and Blanco

So, you came across Teremana Reposado and Blanco, but you are not sure which to get. So, here I will discuss the difference between the two tequilas and which one I recommend.

Teremana Reposado:

• Aged in Oak Barrels
• Notes of oak and vanilla
• with a smooth & rich finish
• golden color
• more expensive

Teremana Blanco:

• Notes of bright citrus
• not aged
• with a smooth & fresh finish
• white color
• less expensive

Aged 

The primary difference between the two is that one is aged and the other isn’t. So the Reposado is aged in Oak Barrels but I’m not sure how long its been aged. The Teremana is a new company owned by Dwayne Johnson so since its new its maybe not aged for long time. However, it still is aged which makes the Reposado different than the Blanco.

Some Flavor

The Reposado has a vanilla finish and the Blanco has a bright citrus finish. I’m more of a vanilla guy so the vanilla would suit me more. So flavor wise this are the two differences between the flavors.

Finish 

They both are smooth, however The Reposado has a rich finish and the Blanco has a fresh finish.

Color 

The Reposado has a golden color finish and the Blanco has a white color finish. The gold color I guess you can say its because of the oak barrels. And the white color is actually like water color not exactly white like paint.

Price 

The gold color is a little expensive, however its taken into more time and process for the preparation. At Target the Blanco is $29.99 and the Reposado is $32.99. But in other stores the prices varies. Because at Vons I believe the Reposado is $38 which that’s where I purchased that one from. And, I found the Blanco one at Jons which was $32. Keep in mind i went to about 5 stores to purchase this tequilas, it was sold out everywhere. So, I will suggest to call the store ahead of time before purchasing, just to make sure its available.

I recommend the Reposado because I like the aging and the vanilla with a rich finish rather than a citrus with fresh finish.

Dwayne Johnsons Teremana Blanco Tequila – Sampling 

So after sampling both drinks one thing came to my attention and that is passion. Dwayne Johnson loves tequila, so with the love he went ahead and made his own company and this is why I wanted to try this drinks. With the love that he made his own company Teremana, he is sharing it with us and I think that’s what is all about with this tequila.

However, there is definitely some things I want to share with you guys and is my opinion. So, when I think about “The Rock” Dwayne Johnson I think of childish or immatureness, so I don’t think of classy or matureness. This said, I would most likely take this drink to a kids birthday party so the parents can drink. And the Kids will be happy to see I brought something of The Rocks and a of course some gifts for them. However, if I was going to a mature gathering I would take a mature drink with me and something unique.

At the same time, If I know someone who is a fan of wrestling or fan of The Rock, then I obviously will take Teremana. The good I love about this drink is that it has his autograph in the back, I find this very cool as it will make any fan happy. I like both flavors, but I like the Golden color one more, its the Reposado and I’m a fan of The Rocks so I love to add this to my wrestling collection souvenirs. Great Tequila Rock!

Teremana Reposado and Blanco

Teremana Tequila Anejo 

This Teremana Anejo just came out this two days and its ready for the holidays. If you guys are unaware of Anejo, it is basically tequila that is aged for minimum 1 year. So, as I’m tasting this I feel like I could taste the vanilla, but as I’m drinking it starts to fade away and the smoothness kicks in. It’s suppose to have oak, vanilla, agave, and lightly sweet and complex finish. I’m getting the complex finish as I can’t figure out what I’m getting. I’m also getting a note of orange, but as its going smoothly I feel like the vanilla is taking most part of the taste.

This drink alcohol is too strong, I’m getting like 98% alcohol taste & 2% of the vanilla and other tastes. The smoothness makes this an excellent drink and I got this for $39.99 from Total Wine & More. I’m drinking as a way to restore and relax so as I’m taking tiny sips, seems like its delivering its job. Great Tequila and will go great with other mixtures.
