Today I tried the Stouffer’s Veggie Lovers Lasagna and it was as good as it looks. I tried the party size because I’m a heavy eater and I like to eat a lot. I ate maybe for about 4 people it was that good. Lately I’ve been staying away from meat and when I randomly saw this in the frozen section at Vons, I knew it was it. I knew this was going to be in my tummy, so I went ahead and purchased it, kind of pricey, was I think $16.00 when at Walmart is about 4 dollars cheaper.
Correct amount of Veggies
As Joe Biden won the Presidential Elections I was watching the news and eating this lasagna dinner. This Veggie Lasagna comes with carrots, spinach, broccoli, onions and creamy cheese sauce as its vegetables. It had the correct amount of veggies, it was all equally balanced and I’m happy it had no mushrooms since I don’t like mushroom on lasagna. Occasionally, I will eat it with mushroom only if the mushroom is BBQed and crispy, not soft.
Great for 4 or 5 People
On the box its labeled for 12 people, but I would consider this for 4 or 5 people max, I mean if I could eat 2 layers then most likely so can others. So, I know it says party size but in reality I would consider this family size. The price was about $16, which I think $13 would be more okay, concerning that it has no meat.
Came with Foil Lid Top
On the box it says bend the top lid and place baking sheet at the bottom and place the lasagna in the oven. However, I didn’t have baking sheets so I went ahead and placed foil paper on the bottom and not baking sheets. Also, this family size had a foil lid as its cover, the small sizes I got before had plastic paper covering on the top instead of foil lid. I kind of like the foil lid better, because I find it more convenient compared to the plastic paper sheet. And, I feel more healthier with the foil lid compared to the plastic paper.
Maybe Stouffer’s is getting rid of the plastic paper on the top, but I’m not sure. Possibly the small sizes have the plastic on top and the bigger trays have the foil lid on top. Anyway, I think it would be better if they all came with foil lid, because I think the plastic is glued on the edges, which obviously will melt during heating.

I cant say anything about this lasagna, the taste was perfect, loved the breadcrumbs on top and of course no meat. As long as it is cooked thoroughly, this is a masterpiece of lasagna. I would purchase this again because as a veggie lover I’m picky and hate mushrooms, this is veggie and has no mushroom and as good as I would like. Perfect lasagna and no harsh ingredients as I was looking at the box, therefore a perfect 5 Stars. 🙂
