Steve Jobs Three Rules of Life

1. Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life.

2. Don’t be trapped by dogma –
which is living with the results of other people’s thinking.
Don’t let the noise of others’ opinions drown out your own inner voice.

3. Have the courage to follow your heart and intuition –
they somehow already know what you truly want to become.
– Steve Jobs

My Thoughts:

1

As far as 1 goes, I think it is very important. Why? Because many people waste their time doing things that are absolutely pointless. Don’t think about other people’s opinions and think about your own. Regardless of that, most important thing is that the time is limited. We are here on earth for so long of a time, and we need to use it correctly. We need to provide our duties to the earth because we live in it. For whatever purpose the earth is made for, we need to contribute to it.

2

In other words, don’t live in other people’s point of view because you have your own point of view in front of you. You need to provide your duties to make the world a better place. You can simply start by making educated choices in life.

3

This is a no brainer as your heart will guide you throughout life. Most importantly, don’t settle for something that you are unhappy with. Start working towards what you like in life. You can have a healthier life by being happy with what you are doing. Instead of crying to do something, you need to enjoy doing it. Which means follow your heart and become what you want to become. Do it for you as you are the one doing it.

I just want to Thank Steve Jobs for doing his role in life by providing better tools for us to use. Also, thanks for providing us with these 3 rules in life as it is very helpful and important.
