Sprint has a special deal on some of their phones. The new galaxy s20s are absolutely free as long as you have good credit and pass their credit check. So I did their credit check online. When you do it online it gives you a number and says you have to call that number to continue. Anyway after calling them and talking to them on the phone they run my credit check and I know my credit is perfect so I was absolutely pissed that they had to give me 4 ?s to answer in order to have a good credit to get the phones for free. So I believe this questions are part of a scam because if you fail the questions now your only choice is to purchase the phones and to pay instead of getting it absolutely free.

Failed at Credit Check

Okay so I have a near perfect credit score and after doing credit check with Sprint, they said my credit is not good. But how is it possible for my credit to not be good when its near perfect? So I find this very disturbing what Sprint is doing, they are tricking people. After they do your credit check and they tell you that you didn’t pass the 4 question test, they give you an option to purchase the phone. They say purchase the phone or they can schedule an appointment for me to go to Sprint so they can sell me the phone.

4 Questions

so they asked me and everyone 4 questions during the process and the 4 questions are very tricky. Besides tricky their really is no correct answer and as far as I remember I answered all the questions correct. Then why do I still have a bad credit is the question? Normally no one askes you questions when they do a credit check that’s one way to figure out that it is a scam. Even when purchasing an expensive car they run a credit check without giving you questions to answer to.

Also if you walk in the store and decide to purchase in store and not online. Then, they still do give you 4 questions to answer, however your not rushed and they can right way scam you and offer you phone in the store since your their already.

This is not the way to go Sprint, if your doing business then don’t find scam to do along, just be correct. People get pissed off when they have perfect credit and you guys tell them that its not passed. And then offer them to buy the phone full price, What the heck! very disappointed with Sprint.

Overall I have nothing negative to say about Sprint, their service is okay and nothing bad. But this type of scam needs to stop from their business perspective point.

If you guys have done this credit check with Sprint please share your experience…
I haven’t seen other cell phone companies ask 4 questions in order to get good credit or bad.
