Snoop Dogg’s Dr. Bombay Ice Cream

There are 7 flavors to try of the Snoop Dogg’s Dr. Bombay Ice Cream and they are available exclusively at Walmart. The price for all of them is $5.22 which comes in a small size of 1 pint. Some of the flavors seem a bit exotic but what I noticed is that there is only 1 chocolate flavor while the other ones are vanilla or sherbet.
Dr. Bombay Ice Creams
I tried one ice cream a day or sometime two and found all of them pretty yummy. However, I wish they had a Rocky Road type of twisted flavor because that is one of my favorite ice creams. visit Dr. Bombay for most and current ice creams.
1 – Bonus Track Brownie
The Vanilla is giving me a French Vanilla type of taste, and the brownies are very soft and feel good when eating. There are chocolate pieces in here that kind of take some effort to bite into it as they are hard chocolates but deliver a nice taste. I guess this is called Bonus Track Brownie because I can’t find the Brownie Brittles anywhere. It’s as if a bonus if you find the Brownie Brittles.
2 – Iced Out Orange Cream
When eating this you notice that it really needs more Vanilla to blend with the Orange Sherbet. Other than that, great ice cream that feels like you are in the tropical islands.
3 – Tropical Sherbet Swizzle
Similar to the Iced Out Orange Cream except it has no Vanilla at all. The pineapple chunks kind of look like mandarin fruit and feels tropical too. This ice cream would mix with the Iced Out Orange Cream just like a perfect pair.
4 – Syrupy Waffle Sundaze
It sure has a nice waffle syrup taste to it, but it really needs real soft waffles instead of crunchy waffles that seem like its chips. The entire syrup is at the very top and not throughout the ice cream.
5 – Cocoa Cream Cookie Dream
The chocolate taste in here kind of has a frozen chocolate shake type of taste. Sure, it is very yummy but where are the cookies? it says it has cookies but can’t find any inside. However, you can taste a bit cookie as if you are dreaming or you really are tasting, still not sure.
6 – Rollin’ in the Dough
Wow! It has a very good amount of cookie dough in here and good amount of chocolates. When you look at the picture on the ice cream box it has chocolate chip cookies, but when eating you are only getting the dough and not the chocolate chip part of the cookie. I guess the tiny pieces inside the ice cream make up for the chocolate chip part of the cookie.
7 – S’more Vibes
I thought I saved the best for last, but as eating I was expecting real marshmallows and I couldn’t find any marshmallows anywhere. Where are the marshmallows?
Overall
All of the ice creams taste great and are good flavors, but I think the ingredients could be improved. On top of that, i wish they came in bigger size instead of 1 pint. My two favorites are the Cocoa Cream Cookie Dream and Rollin’ in the Dough.
Strawberry Cream Dream
It has a very natural strawberry flavor, and I love the Golden Sandwich Cookies as they pop out of nowhere. It’s almost as if the cookies are hidden but once you get the bite you want to bite forever. The jam has sweeter strawberry flavor than the sherbet. The strawberry sherbet and vanilla ice cream as separate which only makes me want to add whip cream on it.
I think with whip cream this would even out the vanilla flavor, so you don’t get only strawberry or only vanilla. Everything perfect except for I see artificial colors in the ingredients. I like that its low calories compared to many out there.
Peanut Butter Jelly Time
What time is it? It’s Peanut Butt Jelly Time and this ice cream feels like breakfast. It’s as if you are eating Peanut Butter Jelly Sandwich. The Grape Sherbet is sour in flavor and tastes like sour pops while the peanut butter ice cream is very sweet and tastes like actual peanut butter.
The grape jelly makes it tastes like its actually peanut butter jelly sandwich. Overall, I like the sour to sweet flavors, but I think it needs improvement on the ingredients.
Long Beach Fruit Cart
This one is a Mango Sherbet and Coconut Ice Cream with Pineapple Pieces and Spiced Mango Swirls.
This one has coconut ice cream which is giving me similar taste to like coco whip. I love the mixture from the mango sherbet to the coconut ice cream which feels good and tastes good. The pineapple pieces are kind of as if they are not there. The spiced mango swirls almost feel like mango chili dried fruits and also like those Mexican mango lollipops. So fresh on the taste and takes you right where the beach is at. So Good!
I also love just how they have improved on the ingredients compared to the rest.
