“The only true wisdom is in knowing you know nothing.” – Socrates

(My Thoughts:)

Well, what can I say other than that it is absolutely true. More quotes I wanted to share from Socrates:

  • “The unexamined life is not worth living.” – Socrates
  • “Wisdom begins in wonder.” – Socrates
  • “True wisdom comes to each of us when we realize how little we understand about life, ourselves, and the world around us.” – Socrates

All this said, we need to start now by living a life of true wisdom and following the words of Socrates.

Showing Off

What I got from this quote is to not show off. Don’t floss on whatever you know or are good at. Be happy to as far as you have achieved to be where you are, but don’t show off about it. In other words, be a good person and respect yourself and people around you.

Wisdom

Every wonder what exactly is wisdom? According to dictionary it is: The quality of having experience, knowledge and good judgment; the quality of being wise.

This said, I really think that judgment is above all very important. Why? Well, in short when people succeed in something they like to forget everything else and to start flossing. This needs to be not done as it means that in truth the knowledge part of wisdom is missing from the person.

Today’s Lesson

As I was driving today, I came across a 180-thousand-dollar car from Mercedes-Benz with low breaks. Every time the car was breaking it was making noises. This is because the brake pads are low and not taken care of. Anyway, my point is that if you are flossing just don’t because you are judged by everything you do. Now, I feel terrible for that person in that car because he has no money to fix it. Even worse, it means that the car is not being scheduled for its services. Which comes down to that the person doesn’t have money to monitor that Mercedes-Benz. Then why drive that car in the first place?
