“One of my proudest moments is I didn’t sell my soul for the sake of popularity.” – George W. Bush

(My Thoughts:)

I think this is very clever for George W. Bush to mention and that is because many people thought of him being president only because of his father was president. Sure, I really think that is perhaps the only reason to why he actually became president but there is more to that. It is that he wanted to be with his soul and not just because his father was the president as well. Therefore, he is just reminding that he didn’t sell his soul for fame and popularity but for his wanting.

Anyone remember when George W. Bush was president of the United States of America? This is when this country changed after the September 11th attacks that took place on 2021. Of course, everyone knows of this day as the tragedy it has caused to this country. You sure will remember the president who was during that time and it was President Bush. You can’t take him off your mind when you talk about the outcomes and situations that took place during those times.

Bush

President Bush handled the situation pretty well and he did a great job in shaping this country. I mean that was just a mess that lasted for years and took years to fix and of course still not everything is fixed as our hearts are scarred from that tragedy.

I still remember that day as I was in 8th grade and my first-grade teacher was crying because of the News we were watching in class. She was also crying because she said her kids were going to be in the building on that day. The next day we found out that her kids were not there during that time, and they were supposed to be there in the afternoon. I really miss that teacher and it was English class and her name was Ms. Wilson.

God Bless Everyone!
