“There are moments when I wish I could roll back the clock and take all the sadness away, but I have the feeling that if I did, the joy would be gone as well.” – Nicholas Sparks, A Walk to Remember (2002)

(My Thoughts:)

Every time I confuse A walk to Remember with The Notebook and I have seen them once. I can’t of can’t remember both films, but not the type of movies I will watch again. I found them kind of stupid and a chick flick as most would call it. Not anything special to me and I rather watch a different movie than go back and watch it again.

Taking Time Back

Come to think of it, it would be awesome to go back to the future. I would probably go back to dinosaur times or the time when Jesus came to earth. However, even if you go back in time to take all the sadness away, it would be pointless. Part of life is to experience these feelings as they make us who we are now.

Joy

I could care less about the joy as it is something that can be replaced by another joy. As much as joy you are having, you can keep having it again and again all over again. There is just endless opportunities to having this joy in you. However, sometimes joy isn’t as great as it may seem to be. therefore, don’t focus on the joy and make it your consideration. Just go with the flow with it and if you have it than great and if not then that’s great too.

The Film

I don’t recommend watching this movie unless you are going to eat popcorn. For popcorn’s sake I would watch the movie, otherwise just another chick flick. On the other hand, maybe it’s good to watch it just because every movie brings an educational viewpoint with it.
