New burger from McDonald's and this one is the biggest by far. It is the Big Arch Burger and packs a size that is just unbeatable. If you thought the McDonald's Big Mac was big this might just make you think again. The Big Mac weights at 6.8 oz while the Big Arch weights at 10.9 oz. On top of that Big Mac weights 590 calories on the McDonald's App and it weights 580 on the McDonald's Site so the Big Mac calories is a bit confusing depending on where you find it. However, pretty much the same thing and I'm going to go with that it is 590 calories. While the Big Arch comes in at 1020 calories and makes the Big Mac look like a little guppie fish.
McDonald's Big Arch Burger
Big Arch contains:
Poppy & Sesame Seed Bun
Big Arch Sauce
Shredded Lettuce
Crispy Onions
Slivered onions
2 quarter pound beef patties
3 White Cheddar Cheese
This burger is full of flavors and love just how there are two different kinds of onions taking effect. One is crispy while the other is slivered and I find this combination just pretty neat and full of flavors. The buns contain poppy and sesame seeds, but the poppy feels kind of silent on the taste. The beef patties are large and weighting at quarter pounds and there is two of them so making this pretty beefy. There is triple cheese in the burger which it is White Cheddar Cheese.
Big Arch vs Big Mac
For me, Big Arch wins just because I love the sauce. It is sweet, relaxing and pickles dominate the taste. The Big Mac sauce is kind of aged with a bit sour touch to it and I prefer the Arch Sauce over the Big Mac sauce.
If you are hungry the Big Arch fully delivers a satisfying meal that makes you full and complete. I choose the Big Arch over the Big Mac and just wish it was available all the time instead of limited time.
Which one do you guys think wins?
