From baked to fried all Apple Pies satisfies to me especially when they are warm and fresh out of the oven or oil. McDonald's Apple Pies just has that cravings satisfaction after a burger meal or chicken meal. Perhaps mixing with ice cream or dipping in shakes might be a great idea too. Well, even along some nice fresh warm coffee or iced coffee will be very suiting too. Therefore, let's dive right into this Apple Pies from McDonald's.
McDonald's Fried Apple Pie

After so many years, the Fried Apple Pie has made a return to the menu and comes in a nice packaging as well. My JAWS is getting a bit too attracted to the color of the box and it's looking extra good to him and to us all. It comes in the same size as before but when you hold the pie you can feel just how strong the external shell is. It is very crunchy and when you bite into it you can feel and enjoy the crunch.

Even though on the box it has red apples and you think you are getting red apple flavors, it kind of tastes like green apples to me. The filling in the inside kind of has this warm hint of caramel taste along with spice that it makes me feel as if the red apples are green. Perhaps, it's just my imagination or it could just be reality. Either way, it is just as good fried as it is baked. However, I prefer the baked version because I'm used to it that way and feel healthier.
Flavors
Giving me low cinnamon taste along with spices but in a sweet way. The sweet tone of taste feels as if it is baked even though it is fried. Perhaps, the inside filling tastes exactly the same as baked or fried. However, you can feel difference on the crust as the fried is too crunchy.
Ice Cream
When eating with ice cream I noticed the baked is better as it delivers more crusty flavors and blends with the ice cream matchingly. The fried crust kind of stands out from the ice cream but still satisfies. Either way, both are great with ice cream but the baked wins for me.
