“Losing an illusion makes you wiser than finding a truth.” – Ludwig Boerne

(My Thoughts:)

I don’t know what to say about this one as it’s a bit tricky. Losing an illusion can really be depressing if you had it for your whole life. However, I know couple people who have lost one of their eye and they get used to it during time. They put a fake eye which might be hard to tell at some point of view but it sure is not better than having two eyes. With one eye you learn to adapt to it and are thankful that at least you have one eye left, but losing both eyes can be really stressful. People who have one eye are thankful and people with two eyes often don’t realize what they see is a gift that many people don’t have.

Glasses

Luckly for the generation we are in that we can go to the doctor and get our eyes fixed. Whatever problems we have, we can get it resolved at the eye clinic. If you don’t see far or have trouble reading books, an eye doctor would find the best glasses to suit you. This is something that we didn’t have many years ago. Therefore, anyone who wears glasses should be thankful for the generation of life we are currently in as in one point this was not available.

Eye Feelings

Eyes represent the whole body through feelings. Just the way you feel can be seen by your eyes. This said, some eye problems that arise from feelings may just be unfixable until the feelings are fixed. This can be panic attacks, anxiety, stress and depression. Sometimes, an eye doctor just can’t fix eye problems if they are risen from feelings. This means you need to work on your feelings and fix that as fixing that will fix your eye problem. Confusing sometimes, but the eye summarizes the entire way you feel.
