simple instructions on how to enable or disable Google Highways on Google Maps. First put the destination you want to go to. Second after you click start to start the navigation, you can go to settings and from there enable or disable Google Highways.

One of the most common things that come across Google Maps is the highway options. Many people seem like they are lost or confused on turning the highways on or off. So I made this video here to help you guys to turn it on or off.

Just Remember

Just know that enabling or disabling works after you have set your destination and you are on your way. If you haven’t set your destination then you will try your best to find the highway options, but you wont be able to find it. So just remember that you need to set the destination first then you can have the options to turn on or off the highways.

Steps on the phone:

  • Set you destination and click Start
  • Go to Settings
  • Avoid Highways (you can enable or disable)

It is as simple as this takes very fast to do, I usually use both highways and none highways depending on the traffic.

Apple users I’m sorry I have no news for you guys on Apple Maps because I normally use the Google for maps. So, I never really needed to use the Apple Maps. I actually really love and enjoy using the Google Maps you can even send reviews of restaurants or anywhere you visit. Also Google Maps remembers your last destinations that you have went, so if you need to revisit you can visit fast. Also if you have Apple phone I think you can download Google Maps on your iPhone just incase if you don’t like the Apple Maps.

Thanks for your time! this was very fast tutorial 🙂
