I’m giving my bird a massage he usually comes by every time I’m typing so I could give him a massage or treat such as fruits. He loves gentle messages by his/hers cheeks. My Cockatiel has white cheeks and white cheeks are more rare than the yellow ones and their more expensive. my bird is 19-years-old here. Every time I’m typing or reading he comes by and I start petting him slowly and they love it. or if I’m on my bird he will fly gently to my bed and walk towards my shoulders and just sit their.

Give Your Bird A Massage

if you have a bird try to give your bird a massage because this makes them feel great and they love it. However, if your bird is not trained where as you cant take it out of the cage to pet him/her. Then consider having more than one bird so they could pet each other as this is their natural habitat. Don’t ever buy one bird because a simple massage is part of their life and if you cant provide it to them, then your just stressing them out.

If you plan on getting a bird

So birds massage one another and they play with one another and this is part of their nature. So, if you plan on keeping one make sure you buy at least two so they can provide the natural habitat to each other. Never buy just one bird because they get stressed and cant get their natural habitat delivered to them by another bird. This results in poor health to the bird.

If your buying one bird make sure its trained and you can provide a massage to them. Also make sure you have a lot of time for the bird because if your not their for them they start stressing. That’s why I always say don’t buy a trained bird, I recommend 4 birds because when their 4 together, no matter what they will enjoy and be stress free.

I had my bird since I was in Middle School and I live in a big family so my bird is never lonely. their is always someone with my bird and other pets. Everyday I’m petting my bird and providing him a massage as part of its natural habitat. So I know my bird is good. If you cant have this comfort for your bird, then simply buy 2 or more birds so their not lonely and stressed. I recommend 4 birds and a very big and roomy cage. Make sure you change the water everyday and the food, a dirty water with dust will effect their health. Also add a lot of mirrors they love mirrors. My bird cage is right next to a big mirror and they love that. Provide real fruits and unsalted mixed nuts, and vegetables like cucumbers and tomatoes.

As long as you have 2 or more birds they will provide a massage towards one another so you wont need to do anything. If you have a trained bird, then you will need to provide the massage. If you cant be their for your trained bird, then purchase additional birds. Put it in a big cage and put it next to your bird, so at least your bird is not lonely.
