Shish Kabob Plate

shish kabob plate Zankou Chicken

Today, I ordered Shish Kabob Plate from Zankou Chicken and I really love this meal. I normally get different foods from Zankou Chicken but most of the time I get this beef Shish kabob. It is served with rice, onions, tomato, hummus, cucumber salad, garlic sauce, and 2 pita breads. Sometimes I substitute the hummus for something else. In the video review I substituted it with extra cucumber salad. I love everything from Zankou and eat the entire plate.

How I Eat the Shish Kabob Plate

When I order the kabob plates I ask for chili peppers, pickled turnips, and garlic sauce. With the first pita bread I make 4 mini pita wraps, I add the beef, onions, and cucumber salad and love the onion flavor mixed with it. then I eat the remaining of the meal without pita, mixing the cucumber salad, onions, and beef together. The tomato, I chop it on the rice and eat it with the rice, also the remaining cucumber salad I mix it with the rice, it is super delicious. With the last pita bread I spread some garlic sauce and eat it like that. Also sometimes I Baklava bakery and eat it as dessert, super good.

Every time I eat a different ways depending on what I’m getting. To mention about their Iced Tea, they have a nice brewed iced tea on the counter and I absolutely love their Teas, blends perfect with the meals.

Combo Kabob Plate

I was feeling pretty hungry so I got the combo plate this time. With the combo plate you choose which 2 meats you want for the plate. I choose the Chicken Kabob & the Shish Kabob as my meat options. Nothing to say about the Shish Kabob as my review is on top of this one and the Chicken is just as good. The onions are just amazing when combined with the meat and I use 1 pita bread to make my own little sandwiches. I also save the other pita for my favorite garlic sauce, guess you can say best for last. If your hungry this plate is just a beast, but if your not too hungry then I would recommend only getting one meat instead of 2. I love this plate, however I do feel like the meat is a little too much. And going for only Chicken Kabob or only Shish Kabob would be better than combined.
