In this video I am driving around Glendale California during coronavirus pandemic times. This was around 1 pm of March 25th, 2020. Just so you guys can see how empty the streets are during this time of Coronavirus (COVID-19) Pandemic. Every store is closed except for foods and groceries but they have special guidelines during this times. Such as, food is only grab and go and grocery stores hours of operations have all changed. Some food rules apply such as quantity of items you get of each grocery.

Many people are frustrated and confused, no one really knows what is going on. The virus has been spreading rapidly all around Los Angeles County and everyone is scared. It appears many people are dying once they get stuck with the virus so the whole city is shocked in Glendale. The picture above is Americana At Brand and you can see how empty it is. On a normal day this area is crowded and today March 25th is empty.

Shopping Malls in Glendale.

At this point Glendale Galleria is fully closed which the Galleria is located behind Americana At Brand. The Americana is also fully closed, even the boutiques in Americana are closed as well. The parking lot which they charge up to 18 dollars is free now, so once you enter the gates open and its free parking for everyone.

Driving around Glendale as you guys can see most stores are closed only restaurants are open, but you must get it to go only. There are no dine ins in any restaurant at this time in City of Glendale. Also stores are closing around 6 pm during this time. Grocery stores are open as well such as Vons and Ralphs.

No Toilet Paper Left

This is the day and time when California and entire USA was short on toilet paper, since all stores were closed, all toilet papers were sold out. Any store you went to their would be no toilet paper in the shelves all are empty. At this time if you had toilet paper you were lucky. However, people who had toilet paper were selling it for double the price on eBay. About 2 months later Glendale and near by cities starting carrying toilet papers back in their shelves again.

Little About Glendale

Glendale is one of the richest Cities next to Beverly Hills with surprisingly cheap prices. Normally when driving around Glendale you will see many Rolls-Royce’s, Bentleys, Lamborghinis, Ferraris, this cars are daily in Glendale. and then cheaper cars like Benz, BMW and Maserati’s are about 65% of all Glendale car populations. And then the remaining are even cheaper cars like Toyota, Honda, etc. Just 15 years ago Glendale was an average city now its among one of the richest cities in California.

As you guys can see in this video that their is not much traffic. On a regular day if I took this same road it would have taken me about 3 times longer in time. So just wanted to share a little with you guys about the virus and the impact on Glendale.
