This new Carl’s Jr. Hand-Breaded Chicken Sandwiches are new to Carl’s Jr. As my first chicken I’m going to try is the Carl’s Jr. Hand-Breaded Chicken and Waffle Sandwich. Second I will try the Carl’s Jr. Bacon Swiss Hand-Breaded Chicken Sandwich. Lets Dive in!
Carl’s Jr. Hand-Breaded Chicken and Waffle Sandwich
This is what I like to call breakfast and lunch at the same time. I was kind of disappointed with this sandwich because it was incredibly small. It was so small that I was thinking of eating 2 just to be satisfied. Anyway it is a Belgian Waffle and it has maple butter sauce on the chicken and bottom part of the waffle. The sauce its very small, it’s like they were running out of sauce so they put just a little. On top of that the waffle was way too small, so small this was like a half sandwich as I would like to call it.
I got some syrup on the side to try along with this sandwich, but I wish I asked for some more maple butter sauce instead of just syrup. I think this would be better if it was served with some nice quality waffles and side of chicken instead of a sandwich. This is something I will not get again because when it comes to waffles I feel like other restaurants have more of what I’m looking for.
Carl’s Jr. Bacon Swiss Hand-Breaded Chicken Sandwich
This Carl’s Jr. Bacon Swiss Hand-Breaded Chicken Sandwich is currently #12 on the menu. I was pretty impressed with this chicken sandwich because it was a one complete masterpiece of a meal. I loved everything used to combine this sandwich together. Well, for the first part let me talk the 2 downsides that I found which are not a big deal.
- The Sandwich was pretty small.
- It only had 1 tomato, I mean 2 or 3 would make this complete.
Ok, so the downside is out of the way and there is nothing bad to say here, one nice chicken sandwich.
The ingredients are:
- Toasted Potato Bun
- tomato
- mayo
- bacon
- swiss cheese
- green leaf lettuce
I loved all the ingredients and especially loved the type of green lettuce they used. This lettuce was just amazing when combined with the chicken and bacon. The type of bread and everything used in this sandwich makes this a one complete masterpiece. Nicely Done Carl’s Jr.!
National Park Foundation Kids Meal Toy
I also got a kids meal toy which I found it very interesting and educational. It is bunch of National Park cards that have like stuff in the back to look for if you happen to go to that national park. I found they very cool and a nice way to learn what stuff are in each specific national park.
For example the Joshua Tree National Park has this things to look for if you happen to be there:
- red bug
- black bug
- fuzzy bug
- bug with wings
- spider
- bug in a flower
This tells me that the Joshua Tree National Park is loaded with bugs. This Explorer cards are nice way to learn and know a little what to expect if you have to go to that park. Nice way to teach the kids about this National Parks. 🙂

Carl’s Jr. 5 piece hand breaded chicken tenders
This Hand Breaded Chicken Tenders were very delicious. I found them going better with the new fiery sauce compared to the buffalo sauce that I always get. As a meal, I did kind of find it just a bit on the small side. I think with some added criscut fries this food size as a meal would be much better. Or possibly adding a sandwich to this meal would have been enough. I was eating this along with some pizza, so I was able to get a little full. However, If there was no pizza, I feel like I would need a nice Hand-Breaded Chicken Sandwich to go along this tenders.
Chicken tastes good and it is just nicely breaded and I would recommend to try this with the new fiery sauce.
