this is the original 1984 Universal Studios Park Map in Hollywood California. This is from many years ago, a classic 🙂
This map is like 4 decades ago and by looking at the map, I wish I was alive at that time to go to the park. As I’m looking at the map the first thing that grabs my attention is the Womphopper’s Restaurant. I don’t ever remember seeing this restaurant anywhere, but a friend of mine told me it was one great restaurant. He said he ate there couple times and always was good. The way he described me the food, I wish I could have tried it myself.
This map looks kind of small compared to now, but for that time being It has some great attractions. But, the main thing that grabs my attention is Conan A Sword and Sorcery Spectacular. I wish this show was still around, its something I would just love watching as I loved the movie.
Tram Tour
I can’t believe my favorite Tram Tour is available during 1984, I just wonder how it was back then. If you guys haven’t been on the Tram Tour, I would highly recommend it. Its a tour they give you and you see and learn how the movies are made. I find it relaxing and a learning experience, and very enjoyable.
Front of the Map
It just has the Live Show Times and gives a bit information about the Glamour Tram Tours. Also it mentions for one admission price, it will at least take 5 hours to explore the Entertainment Center.
Back of The Map
Has places to eat and also places to shop. From the places to eat, Womphoppers Wagon Works Restaurant grabs my first attention. They have famous Steak, BBQ Ribs and Chicken. Kind of craving some yummy BBQ Ribs with some Cocktails. The very bottom there is a Six Flags commercial to go to Magic Mountain which is about 40 minutes away.
I’m sure 1984 was a great time as it was classical and fun days.
